Sundays

We have one service on Sunday, which starts at 9.30am and lasts about an hour. It usually takes place in the church building, but occasionally meets in St Mary’s Centre. The service is structured, generally following the Church of England’s pattern of Common Worship, and usually includes Holy Communion. Music is a mix of more contemporary songs and some traditional hymns. After the service, everyone is warmly invited to stay on for tea and coffee in St Mary’s Centre next door.

There is relaxed feel to Sunday services, which are planned and led with the hope that all who attend will be part of an accessible and engaging service, and hear relevant and straightforward bible teaching.

Currently, there is no crèche or Sunday School, but children are very welcome.  For the little ones who come each week, there is an area by the pulpit equipped with some books and toys, which are used under parental supervision. There are toilet and baby changing facilities in church.
